Aphyolebias peruensis

Postby Microman » Wed Jul 28, 2010 12:35 am

Hi, my first post here....
Ive just managed to get hold of a nice group of wild Aphyolebias peruensis but unfortunately they have all turned out to be males.
Is this cracking species is being regularly maintained in the UK? If so is anybody able to put me in contact with somebody who has females to spare?
My first time with killis despite collecting a number of beautiful Rivulus sp. whilst in Peru for 5 weeks last October.
Going again on Sept 28th for a months collecting, mostly looking for Apistos but always Rivulus sp. in the same waters.
Would be nice to collect female A.peruensis for myself in Yarina Cocha....

Hello,

I got eggs from Oxana, she may have spare fish. Did you hatch yours from eggs or get young fish? If they are from eggs then rewet the peat. You will certainly get more fry.

All the best with the Rivulus collecting!

Kind regards
