BKA Auction forms

If you are planning on attending a BKA auction, why not fill out your auction entry form before you go. This saves time on the day, and allows greater accuracy with respect to species and location data.

You can download it as a pdf (for easy printing, requires Adobe Reader), or an excel spreadsheet (allows typing of lots, plus you can keep an electronic copy for your records. Requires Microsoft Excel). If you have more than 30 lots, you will to download the second sheet too (pdf excel spreadsheet).

How to fill in the form

If you have been to a BKA auction before you will probably know what you are doing. If not, here are a few instructions. This form can be used for both the fish auctions, and sales tables (if applicable). Please look at the corresponding page for the auction you are attending, in case there are extra instructions.

  • Fill in your name/BKA number/ telephone number (telephone number is not compulsory).
  • Enter a detailed description of each lot, remember to state whether there is a pair/trio etc.
  • Give a reserve price (if required) for each lot.
  • At the auction you will be allocated a letter. Each lot will be designated a code consisiting of your letter, and the lot number on your sheet. You must mark your fishbags with this code, the full name AND the reserve price.
  • The signature field should NOT be signed. You will be required to sign this after the auction to confirm that you have received the proceeds of your lots
  • All other fields should be left empty for use of the organisers.

If the seller was allocated the letter 'P'. Lot P2 would be a trio of Rivulus xiphidius PK15 with a reserve of £4. The bag of fish would be marked. 'P2 Rivulus xiphidius PK15 - res £4'.
