2008 BKA conventionThe 2008 BKA Convention will be held at the Luton Holiday Inn, Markyate, Hertfordshire. This years convention is already looking to be another very good occasion, with lectures by Ruud Wildekamp (Nothobranchius, Epiplatys, and Collecting in Chad) and Peter Riley (Livefoods).

And of course there is the killifish show; the greatest exhibition of killifish in the UK. Generally several hundred pairs of rare and beautiful killifish can be seen (in tanks rather than bags), photographed, and they will all be auctioned on Sunday.

There will also be another auction on the Saturday, a sales table of donated aquatic items running throughout the weekend, and of course the banquet.

Full details of this event, what to expect, prices, and travel information can be found in the 2008 convention pdf.

Further details and discussion will appear on the BKA forum. With many members visiting from around the country why not consider car sharing? Post a message at the forum to this effect, and save on fuel costs and C02 emissions in one go.

For more details about the convention, or to book your place, contact Ian Sainthouse at convention@bka.org.uk
